12/29/15 I am bringing these headphones back to BestBuy for a full refund. They will not pair to Bluetooth at all. And I do hear the clipping off of certain songs when they are played at the start of the track (thats when the headphones did work). 12/23/15 - 1) You must connect the headphones to your computer and let them charge up. A red light will illuminate specifying charging is in progress. Once it is charged, the red light will turn off and a voice will say charging complete. 2) Disconnect and turn them on. The voice will tell you to NOW pair your headphones for Bluetooth. 3) Connect to Bluetooth. 4) Now go to this app. That is what is meant by Please connect your headphones. The instructions are ambiguous.

Please fix!! Cant get past the Orange screen

Yes. Now what? Ive connected my Everest 300 in a wild attempt to personalize the equalization, as Ive been promised that Im able to do. Nothing is happening. Im tired of this screen. Im tired of turning everything on and off. Im very clearly hearing my phones audio through these headphones. Tell me, what exactly does this app think "connected" is?

Any updates would be appreciated. The app is useless

This App works fine when you connect with Bluetooth, but doesnt work when connecting with the cable. Enable Bluetooth on your device, pair the headphones, then launch the App. Im sure JBL will be improving this as they go along. The sound is amazing, so hang in there!

Same as other reviewers report, this app does not work. After deleting and reinstalling, I still get the "connect headphones" message. Credibility is quickly lost on a high end product when the app doesnt function properly!

Like many others have stated, I have my headphones connected to my phone through Bluetooth and I can hear my music so I know its connected, but I cant get past the orange "please connect your headphones" screen. Disappointing.

Not sure where the issue lies for the other reviewers but the app works just fine with my Everest elite 700 purchased yesterday. I have an iPhone 6 maybe its somehow an issue with other phones but app is working great.

This app works great with my 700 series. The only thing is the settings do not processed if I use the headphones with my iPad versus my iPhone. It keeps the settings from the device that youre connected to you and therefore from the app on that device. It works consistently every time from my iPhone and allows me to adjust the EQ and the ambient sound from the noise cancellation settings.

Saw some of those negative reviews and nervously downloaded. It is flawless and I have an iPhone 4S. Paired quickly, love EQ choices and ambient awareness just might make my marriage more harmonious! Thank you, Harmon JBL for Everest Elite 700. Never paid so much for headphones AND never been happier :)

I bought the JBL Everest 300 and the app says the headphones are not connected even though I can hear music through them. I think this can be an easy fix if they make an update for it, or make another app and delete this one.

I love these headphones, but the app can only be downloaded to iPhones or iPads. Why can’t it be downloaded to a Mac!? Would be nice to be able to update the headphone firmware through the Mac too. App works great on the iPhone.

I dont understand the negative reviews. This works perfect with my elite 700.

Make Sure to update the headphones via USB on the computer. For whatever reason the headphones dont come from factory with the correct version to receive updates via the app. Once youre at at least version 5, the app will keep the headphones updated.

App works great, headphones have excellent sound. Use this with the Elite 300 (thought 700s were too bulky for my taste). Just an FYI, this does not work with the regular 300 or 700 series, only the Elites. You also have to download the update from JBL to get the full functionality of the app. Google "Elite 300 or 700 firmware update" and you should be able to easily find it. If you cant operate the software (unzip the file, etc) you wont get much help from tech support on that, sorry. The EQ is awesome and has 3 sliders for each of mid, bass, and treble categories at different HZ so you can really customize the sound to your liking. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is that every time you disconnect, you have to go back in the app to select your custom EQ again which can be annoying. Wish it would just save your selected EQ.

Just bought Everest Elite700. Downloaded app, it launched WITH SOUND because the headphones are plugged in, and the app froze on Please Connect Headphones. Real nice...ugh!
