Junk

The app does not work. Keeps saying please connect headphones yet they are connected. Bug somewhere.

Buggy app and lousy support

App just wont find the connected headphones. Worse - theres nothing to tell us how to troubleshoot this.

Junk

App wont go past the connect headphones even when thy are through bluetooth and work with all other things on my phone What The Hell JBL ???!!!!!

Having Trouble Connecting?

Yall, this only for the Elites. And on the Elites it works beautifully. Update your firmware if it doesnt work for you. Tip: if u want more bass than itll boost, just lower the rest of the frequencies & higher your volume.

Doesnt work

Connected via Bluetooth, even listened to music yet I am stuck on the screen telling me to connect my headphone. Currently have the Everest 300

JBL Headphone App

As others have said, cant get past the connect headphones point. Terrible app.

Worked great. For one day.

App says "please connect headphones". Even though they are connected.

Wont Connect

Returning headphones and deleting app

Issue

Cant seem to get past the connect headphones screen even though the headphone is connected.

Doesnt work

Like another reviewer reported, the app only displays a "Please connect headphones" message and does nothing else. My Everest headphones are connected and playing music fine. Cmon, Harman, did you even test this before releasing it?

Cant connect

Same here.. Cant get past the connect headphone screen and no setting button whatsoever :(

Works great!

Not sure why others are having issues. Mine fired right up with no issue. Does everything it states and the in-app ANC control is genius! My only suggestion to the dev team is to add the ability to toggle between connected devices within the app. That would be some next level stuff! Good work guys!

Everest Elite 700 - Won’t Pair with AppleTV4

These connect with and offer configuration options for my JBL Everest Elite 700 headphones. The headphones came with firmware version 4.0, however, the JBL support site states this app is used to wirelessly update firmware versions 5.0 or higher (the current version is 5.4). The site further explains that the initial firmware update for version 4 requires the headphones be plugged into a computer with a micro-USB cable, and that future updates will be possible wirelessly. There is however no download link provided — no firmware update to download. Firmware version 4.0 isn’t compatible with the new AppleTV4. JBL tech-support, located in the Philippines, is useless. They told me the product engineers were ‘in a hurry to finish the headphones by a deadline’ and a ‘non-standard’ version of Bluetooth shipped with the ‘1st-batch’ and they’re getting a lot of calls about users with all sorts of devices that won’t pair. He, and a couple others, have promised to research the matter and get back to me — it’s been 2 weeks now, no response :-(

Doesnt work with everest elite 700 / newest ios

I am fully updated on IOS, but it seems others are having issues using this app for the everest elite 700 as well. Despite what JBL is pushing online and in the flyer in the packaging, you cannot use the app for this. A shame as id like to configure the headphones but a stock default will do for now. JBL, this was a horrible release

Waste of time

This app does nothing but spin around with the word "calibrating" displayed. The cancel button isnt even active to end the madness.

Hot garbage

Would love to hear from those who are able to use the app how they got it to work. As far as Im concerned, this app is hot garbage. I tried un-installing and re-installing the app, disconnecting and reconnecting, and continue to get nothing but an ugly orange "please connect headphones" screen...even after clearly hearing the music from the start-up screen of this app over the headphones! But the app thinks theyre not connected. So Im tapping out on this app until JBL fixes it.

Useless

App does not work at all.

Doesnt connect

All that I see when I open the app is "please connect headphones". They are connected. Ive tried forgetting the device and reconnecting but it didnt work.

My JBL Headphones

This App is not good. Doesnt connect, I did everything I was suppose to. Same result.... Nothing.

Fake app

This is a total scam. Says compatible with all Everest series headphones but seeing all the other reviews, and experiencing the same thing, thats just not the case. This will allow your headphones to connect to it. Simple as that. The kicker is when I downloaded the app and opened for the first time, the headphones were connected and the app plays a few sounds. I heard the sounds through my headphones, but according to the app Im not connected.
